CUSTODIAN

Nez Perce County is seeking a full-time custodial position in our Maintenance/Custodial Department. Custodian hourly pay is $19.24/hour, plus exceptional benefits including PERSI retirement, excellent health insurance and generous vacation/sick/holiday leave.  

Custodial work shifts are regularly scheduled during evening hours. Positions perform a variety of cleaning duties to maintain county buildings in a safe, clean and sanitary condition. Qualified applicants must have sufficient custodial training and work experience to successfully perform the duties required of these positions. DEPUTY COURT CLERK

Full-time position with the District Court. $20.20-$21.39/hr, plus exceptional benefits including: PERSI retirement, excellent medical insurance for employee and eligible dependents, and generous vacation/sick/holiday leave. Deputy Court Clerks work under the direct supervision of the District Court Supervisor. Positions play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient function of a statewide court management system. Responsibilities include administrative tasks, facilitating records and information management, assisting court officials and the public. District Court is a culturally diverse environment, and these positions require exceptional customer service skills. 

Min. Qualifications: High school graduate/equivalent; Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or technical school in a related field; or two years’ related work experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and work experience to successfully perform the duties required of this position. DEPUTY PROSECUTING ATTORNEY

The Nez Perce County Prosecutor’s Office is accepting applications for a full-time Deputy Prosecutor position. Position located in Lewiston, ID at the base of the Hells Canyon and the confluence of the Snake and Clearwater Rivers in the Lewis-Clark Valley. Lewiston’s relatively mild climate lends accessibility to a variety of outdoor recreational activities all four seasons. Lewis-Clark State College, the University of Idaho and Washington State University are all within 30 minutes of the LC Valley. The Valley is home to 60,000 residents and is served by a regional airport as well as two US Highways.  

Position primarily handles the prosecution of misdemeanor cases. Refer to Deputy Prosecutor I job description below for additional details on duties and responsibilities. Exempt position paid $73,000-$86,000 annually, DOE/DOQ. Nez Perce County offers exceptional benefits including: PERSI retirement, excellent medical insurance and generous vacation/sick/holiday leave.
