Nez Perce County is making improvements at Palmer Parking in Waha to better serve the public who use this area. The County has installed Portable Restrooms and a solar light as a temporary stopgap to meet the public’s needs when traveling or recreating in this area. These restrooms are not sustainable for the long term and are costly to maintain.
Nez Perce County is seeking public input on a grant application through Idaho Parks and Recreation for an ADA Double Vaulted CXT style restroom for Palmer Parking. Please email any comments you may have to commissioners@co.nezperce.id.us. In addition, the Board of County Commissioners will take comments and a Public Agenda Session on Friday, January 31, 2025 at 9:00 am in the Main Floor Conference Room of the Brammer Building, 1225 Idaho Street, Lewiston, Idaho.

Traffic for these offices is light after Noon on Fridays; therefore, the Board wanted to offer hours before 8:00 am and during the lunch hour for citizens to have access to these departments and conduct their business.
