VOTING INFORMATION
ELECTION EQUIPMENT TEST
A test to certify the accuracy of Nez Perce County election equipment is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. on Monday, May 16th. This test will be held at the Nez Perce County Courthouse, 1230 Main Street, in the Auditor Recorder’s office.
Counting equipment to be used in the Primary Election will be tested. The general public and members of the media are urged to attend.

ABSENTEE BALLOT RETURN DEADLINE
Absentee ballots for the May 17, 2022 Primary Election must be received in the Auditor Recorder’s office by 8:00 p.m. on Election Day, May 17, 2022 in order to be counted.
Ballots may be returned by mail or hand delivered to the Nez Perce County Auditor Recorder’s office at 1230 Main St., Lewiston, ID.
Ballots received after 8:00 p.m. May 17, 2022 will not be counted regardless of postmark date.

EARLY VOTING CLOSES FRIDAY, MAY 13, 2022
Friday, May 13, 2022 is the last day for Nez Perce County residents who are unable to go to the polls on Election Day to early vote in-person for the May 17, 2022 Primary election.
The Auditor Recorder’s Office, Nez Perce County Courthouse, 1230 Main St. will be open from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. for early voting.

APPLICATION DEADLINE FOR MAIL-OUT ABSENTEE BALLOTS
Friday, May 6, 2022, is the last day applications for mail-out absentee ballots may be received by the county clerk for the May 17, 2022 Primary election.
All applications must be received by the Auditor’s Office no later than 5:00 p.m.
Voters who are unable to go to the polls on Election Day can early vote through Friday, May 13, 2022 at the Auditor Recorder’s Office, Nez Perce County Courthouse, 1230 Main St, Lewiston.

RIMROCK-23 PRECINCT MAIL-BALLOT INFORMATION
Primary Election
Ballots for the Primary Election were mailed to all eligible voters in the Rimrock-23 Mail-Ballot Precinct April 25, 2022. If you have not received a ballot and you are registered and eligible to vote, please contact the Nez Perce County Elections Department immediately.
The last day to return your ballot is Tuesday, May 17, 2022 by 8:00 p.m.
If you need to register to vote or re-register due to a name or address change, Election Day Registration and voting will be available at the Nez Perce County Courthouse, 1230 Main St, Lewiston, on May 17, 2022 from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

PRE-REGISTRATION CLOSES FRIDAY, APRIL 22nd
FOR THE MAY 17, 2022 PRIMARY ELECTION
Friday, April 22, 2022 is the last day for voters to pre-register at the Nez Perce County Auditor Recorder’s Office for the May 17, 2022 primary election.
Prospective voters must be at least 18 years old and have lived in Nez Perce County for 30 days prior to the election. A voter who is already registered but has had a name or address change must re-register.
Registration is available at the polls on Election Day for residents unable to register before the April 22, 2022 deadline.
