ACCOUNTING COORDINATOR
Nez Perce County is actively recruiting for an Accounting Coordinator with the Clerk/Auditor’s Office. Hourly pay offered is $24.55-$28.88 DOE/DOQ, plus exceptional benefits including: PERSI retirement, excellent medical/dental/vision insurance for employee and eligible dependents, and generous vacation/sick/holiday leave. This position is part of an accounting team and is responsible for advanced accounting work including accounts payable, bank and deposit reconciliations, administration of the County’s insurance policies, grant oversight, journal adjustments and payroll backup.
Min. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred and five years accounting work experience OR equivalent combination of education and work experience to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities. Successful hire must be proficient in the use of computers and Microsoft Office and accounting programs, possess excellent communication skills, and able to pass a background check.
