ELECTION EQUIPMENT TEST
A test to certify the accuracy of Nez Perce County election equipment is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 16th. This test will be held at the Nez Perce County Courthouse, 1230 Main Street, in the Auditor Recorder’s office.
Counting equipment to be used in the Primary Election will be tested. The general public and members of the media are urged to attend.

EALY VOTING ENDS
FRIDAY, MAY 17, 2024
Friday, May 17, 2024, is the last day for Nez Perce County residents who are unable to go to the polls on Election Day to early vote for the May 21, 2024 Primary election.
The Auditor Recorder’s Office, Nez Perce County Courthouse, 1230 Main St. will be open from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. for early voting.

ABSENTEE BALLOT RETURN DEADLINE
Absentee ballots for the May 21, 2024 Primary Election must be received in the Auditor Recorder’s office by 8:00 p.m. on Election Day, May 21, 2024 in order to be counted.
Ballots may be returned by mail, hand delivered to the Nez Perce County Auditor Recorder’s office, or put in the Election Drop box located at the back of the Courthouse, 1230 Main St, Lewiston, ID, 83501.
Ballots received after 8:00 p.m. May 21, 2024 will not be counted regardless of postmark date.

RIMROCK-23 PRECINCT
MAIL-BALLOT INFORMATION
Primary Election
Ballots for the Primary Election were mailed to all eligible voters in the Rimrock-23 Mail-Ballot Precinct May 3, 2024. If you have not received a ballot and you are registered and eligible to vote, please contact the Nez Perce County Elections Department immediately.
The last day to return your ballot is Tuesday, May 21, 2024 by 8:00 p.m.
If you need to register to vote, or re-register due to a name or address change, Election Day Registration and voting will be available at the Nez Perce County Courthouse, 1230 Main St, Lewiston, on May 21, 2024 from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. To register to vote, photo id and proof of residence is required.

PRE-REGISTRATION CLOSING FRIDAY, APRIL 26TH
PRIMARY ELECTION

Friday, April 26, 2024 is the last day for voters to pre-register at the Nez Perce County Auditor Recorder’s Office for the May 21, 2024 Primary Election.
The Auditor Recorder’s Office is open from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
A voter who is already registered but has had a name or address change must re-register.
Registration is available at the polls on Election Day for residents unable to register before the April 26, 2024 deadline. To register, voters must provide current Idaho photo ID and proof of residence.

PARTY AFFILIATION CHANGE DEADLINE
The last day voters can change their party affiliation is Friday, March 15, 2024 for the May 21, 2024 Primary Election.
Change forms are available at the Auditor Recorder’s Office in the Nez Perce County Courthouse, 1230 Main St, Room 100, Lewiston or go to voteidaho.gov to change your party affiliation online.
All change forms must be received in the County Clerk’s office by 5:00pm.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN: Pursuant to Section 34-1405, Idaho Code, for the candidate filing deadline for elections to be held on May 21, 2024.
