NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given that the Nez Perce County Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. in the Brammer Building Conference Room, 1225 Idaho Street, Lewiston, Idaho concerning the following:

TA2021-1 Administrative Use Permits: An amendment to the Nez Perce County Land Development Code amending the fee structure for administrative use permits wherein the applicant is responsible for all mailing costs, and amending procedure to allow multiple off-premise sponsor signs at a single location to permitted by a single permit when certain criteria are met.

The Department of Planning and Building Services issues building permits, administers the county's land use and development ordinances, and reviews applications for conditional use permits, subdivisions, and zone changes.

The department provides assistance with various land use issues and ensures compliance with existing regulations. Other functions of this department include the enforcement of adopted building code regulations and providing assistance with community development projects.
